Reflection by Ivan

Ivan here, the final member of fifth and currently in my second year of university. Over the past two years of befriending our friends from the street, one of my biggest takeaways is that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I want to start this volunteer to bring light to homelssness in Singapore as many of us have been blessed with having the simple necessities in life such as having a roof overour head. At the frist glance, our streets might seem like there are no or few homeless. However, that is because many of them have learned how to blend in with the crowds to be 'invisible'. It is important to remember those who are not as privileged and offer them a helping hand even if it is a small kind gesture to remind them that they are not forgotten.
